Megan (Horak) Du Preez is the owner of Play It 4WARD and one of the co-founders that started it in 2006. She is a South African born philanthropist, businesswoman and entrepreneur. She has been deeply entrenched in the golf industry for 11 years and is married to celebrity golfer, Heinrich du Preez.
Megan owns and manages companies that hosts charity and corporate golf days. The golf days that they host are both memorable and exceptional, with Megan taking care of everything from securing high profile attendance to entertainment, trick-shot displays, fun and interactive competitions for players, charity auctions and catering. Her golf days are often covered by the local media and never forgotten among attendees.
Another business venture of Megan’s is an agency for golfers, Master of Ceremonies’ (MC’s), speakers and auctioneers. Megan goes above and beyond to raise the profile of South Africa’s top speaking and sports talent by proactively seeking opportunities, managing their media engagements and ensuring her clients maintain a high profile and are involved in niche events that contribute to their personal brand building goals.
Before settling in Pretoria, South Africa, Megan lived in the United Kingdom for five years. She was on Celebrity Review in the UK and has also worked as a model in South Africa, the UK and China.
Heinrich Adriaan du Preez also known as “the radical golfer”, is a South African golfer and the holder of numerous golf related world records and Guinness World Records, including playing a round of golf on all six continents in just five days.
While many people play golf for sport or leisure, Heinrich uses his talent to help those in need. As a philanthropist, many of his golfing adventures and endeavours are geared at raising money for minorities and those who are less fortunate. He is truly dedicated to combining his talent and passion for golf with his mission to uplift the communities that he touches.
Heinrich is also a sought-after master of ceremonies and is regularly booked for everything from high profile store openings and sporting events to corporate functions, private parties and charity events. He has an impressive track record when it comes to encouraging people to donate money for causes and he holds the record for the most money raised at auctions.
